1  The Account page

The Account page is visible to admin users. If Account is not in your menu, as it is in the picture below, you do not have admin rights. Open the menu at the top left and click Account, or go straight to app.grip.co.nz/account. Only your firm’s administrators see it; everyone else sees the map alone.

Tab What it holds
Details Your firm’s name, phone number and account administrator (section 3).
Users Who holds a licence, adding and removing people, and admin rights. See Users and licences.
Company Data The fields your firm records against each point on the map. See Company Data - Setup & Configuration.

2  Who can do what

Role What they can do
Account administrator One person: the account’s owner and our key contact, who receives the invoices and the reminder before each annual rollover. Everything an admin can do, and their name shows on the Details tab. Only GRIP can change who it is.
Admin Adds and removes users, gives and takes admin rights, sets up the company data fields, and uses everything on the map. Any user can be made one.
User Uses everything on the map, including adding and editing company data points. Does not see the Account page.

3  Your firm’s details

The Details tab: the firm’s name (1), its phone number (2), the account administrator (3), and Apply (4).

The phone number is the one field you change here: it is the number we call about the account. Type the new number and click Apply. The name and the administrator are shown for reference, and changed by GRIP (section 4).

4  What GRIP changes for you

Some changes need us. Email the right team and we do the rest, usually the same day.

Change Who to email, and what to send
A new account administrator support@grip.co.nz — the current administrator’s name and login email, the new one’s, and anyone to add or remove at the same time. A new login is emailed its details; an existing user keeps theirs.
Your firm’s name support@grip.co.nz — it should match your legal or trading name, and prints in your title block.
The email domains your users can have support@grip.co.nz — after a rebrand, say. Adding a user on a domain we do not know is refused until the domain is added.
More licences sales@grip.co.nz — the number of licences you would like. They are added at any time, charged for the rest of your year, and appear as empty rows on the Users tab. See Users and licences.
Fewer licences, or cancelling accounts@grip.co.nz — both take effect at your annual rollover, and we email you a few weeks before it. See Subscriptions and Billing.

Account is not in my menu.

You are not an administrator. Ask one of your firm’s administrators for the change you need, or to make you one — or email support@grip.co.nz and we can grant it.

Who is our account administrator?

Open Account: the Details tab names them.

Someone has left the firm.

Remove them on the Users tab; their licence is free for the next person. If they were the account administrator, email support@grip.co.nz to hand the role on. See Users and licences.

We have changed our email address domain.

Email support@grip.co.nz the new domain and we add it, so you can add users on it.

Signing in, passwords and logging out are in Your login. Adding and removing people is in Users and licences.
